Little ghosts and goblins get set for big fun at Miami’s biggest kid-friendly Halloween Extravaganza - Monster Splash Daytime Splash & Nighttime Bash returning for its 20th year on October 24 – 26 and 31st, 2014 from 2 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.  With more ghoulish treats and ghostly fun than ever before, this year’s event features trick-or-treating at Sharky’s Sweet Tooth Station; kiddie rides and bounce houses at the Little Monsters Play Area; the Monsters in the Mangrove Haunted Walk; Flipper’s Dance Party and the only place in Miami to enjoy Halloween themed marine animal shows.  Monster Splash Daytime Splash & Nighttime Bash is a safe Halloween alternative for kids and their families.

Marine adventures await the entire family during "Dream with Dolphins" a family camp sleep over. Families will sleep around our Top Deck Dolphin exhibit at night while participating in an exciting oceanic journey throughout the day. The two day event offers science presentations, marine mammal shows, light snack, dinner, and continental breakfast the next day and much more. Families will also have the opportunity to explore a variety of marine creatures by booking one of the many interaction packages with our manatees, sea turtles, dolphins, sea lions and more. Celebrate 50 years of Flipper Magic

Miami Seaquarium, the original film location of the popular TV series Flipper, will commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the television program’s first broadcast.   “A Year Full of Wonder”, will feature special events at the park and around South Florida along with fabulous giveaways, promotions and festivities for the whole family.
 
‘Flipper’ the TV show, which first aired on the NBC network in 1964, was an instant hit.  The adventure series featured two brothers, Sandy and Bud, befriended by a bottlenose dolphin, Flipper, and their father Ranger Porter Ricks of Coral Key State Park in Florida.  The show centered on the adventures of Flipper and the boys and usually ended with Flipper saving the day.
