Visit this year's Summer Camp Open House and receive a FREE LUNCH PROGRAM for each child you register that day.  The offer is valid only during Open House hours.  The program enrollment is for four days only (Monday - Thursday).  You and your child can opt to pay $5.00 cash for Domino's cheese pizza on Friday.
 
Open House will be held Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 10:00am to 2:30pm.

Dolphin Odyssey with Summer Camp - Campers in grades 4 through High School have the option of signing up to participate in the Dolphin Odyssey program. Children must be 52 tall to participate in the program and they will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. We will have 28 spots available during each week of summer camp.

    Dolphin Encounter Program with Summer Camp - Campers in grades Kindergarten through Third Grade have the option of signing up to participate in the Dolphin Encounter program. Children will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. We will have 28 spots available during each week of summer camp.

      Summer Camp Lunch Option - This year campers have the option to enroll in the lunch program. The program will be prepared by Miami Seaquarium's Food Service Department. The cost of the lunch program is $20.00 (cash or credit) for lunch Monday through Thursday and $5.00 in cash for lunch on Friday. Your child must be enrolled in the program for the entire week - we will not accommodate day-by-day requests. Final enrollment must be made no later than Monday morning of your child's camp week. Please note that the menu cannot be changed.

      • Monday - Hot Dog and Macaroni and Cheese and a can of soda
      • Tuesday - Ham and Cheese sandwich on bun and red seedless grapes and low-fat milk
      • Wednesday - Chicken Fingers (2) and French fries and gatorade
      • Thursday - Hamburger or Cheeseburger and Classic Lays Potato Chips and a can of soda
      • Friday - Domino's cheese pizza and a can of soda

          Campers providing their own lunch from home should bring it in a labeled brown paper bag or lunch box. Lunches will be collected each morning and kept in an air-conditioned facility. Microwaves are not available for the heating of food. Ice water will be available throughout the day and a snack will be provided each afternoon.

          Animal Voyage
          Have you ever wanted to learn all you can about animals? This week campers will take a voyage and learn all about cetaceans, sharks, and pinnipeds. Interactions for the week will include dolphin, shark feeding, and an invertebrate touch to name just a few.

          Eco-Explorer
          Do you want to know how to help the planet? This week Camp Seaquarium is going green. Campers will learn about recycling, pollution, endangered species, and water conservation. Animal interactions will include manatees, sea turtles, and birds to name just a few.

          Eco-Explorer
          Do you want to know what you can do to help the planet? This week Camp Seaquarium is going green. Campers will learn about alternative energy, recycling, endangered species, and pollution. Campers will get up close and personal with iguanas, tortoises, birds, and manatees to name a few.

          Marine Ecosystems
          Come and play as we discover the different marine ecosystems of South Florida. Each day we will focus on a specific ecosystem, and how we can help protect these habitats, and the animals that call them home. Animal interactions this week will include shark feeing, dolphin, reef feeding, and an invertebrate touch.

          Eco-Explorer
          Camp Seaquarium is going green. Campers will learn how we can protect our surrounding environment by recycling, conserving water, stopping pollution, and helping endangered species. Our interactions for the week will include a reef feeding, manatee, bird, and a behind-the-scenes tour.

          Dolphin Studies
          This week we will begin our study of dolphins in detail. Our week will focus on dolphin anatomy, communication, care of young, social behavior, and training. Animal interactions for the week will include bird, dolphin, and a shark feeding.

          Eco-Explorer
          Camp Seaquarium is going green. Join us on our journey as we learn about recycling, water conservation, pollution, and endangered species. Campers will come face to face with snakes, manatees, birds, and go on a behind-the-scenes tour.

          Sea Turtle Study
          Join us as we embark on a detailed study about sea turtles. Our week will focus on the loggerhead, hawksbill, leatherback, and green sea turtles. Interactions for the week will include invertebrate touch, dolphin, a trainer talk, and meeting our bearded dragons.
